I use reiki as a foundation stone for my healing; this is a Japanese based method of promoting a deep state of relaxation, which in turn helps with physical and mental healing.
While reiki is spiritual in nature it is not dependent on a religion and has no religious dogma.
During a treatment you remain fully clothed, hands can be placed on or above your body. This in turn eases you into a state of deep relaxation helping to release tensions which may be physical, mental or emotional. It is important to understand a positive and relaxed mindset has considerable benefits within our lives, helping us to cast away old habits and patterns enabling acceptance of life changes and to think more positively. Reiki does not bring about instant cures but works to restore balance within body and mind which in turn promotes healing.
At times I use crystals in combination with reiki treatments to amplify the healing energy; crystals have been used for healing purposes for thousands of years due to their holistic properties. Or Runes for analysis of problems, in runic belief all things are interconnected, the relevance of the past provide an insight to how our present circumstances came into being.
